Well, isn’t religious belief a private matter anyhow? Or, a least it should be between a man and God.

Maybe it should be, or maybe not. But Cruz campaigned as a super-Christian. And now this comes out about him?

Yes, Faith is a private matter in my book. But I don’t proselytize personally. My relationship with The Lord is my business.

That is part of my issue not only with Cruz, but also with many of his followers. Telling me that I am not a “good Christian” because I don’t vote for Cruz tells me it isn’t about Faith, but about winning. And shaming. Maybe I’m too much of a New Testament guy instead of Old Testament.

So all thru life we have all met people who tell us what “good Christians” they are. In my experience, those people are the furthest from what I have believed in all my life. Try to live in His light, and never, ever try to be Judge. Only He is that.

Ted tried to sell his piety as a way to earn a position of power. To me that goes against what I have learned.

I go out of my way to avoid discussions of Faith in here. It always devolves into cherry picking of Scripture...
