Honestly, we have seen this coming for a while. Starting with the campaign finance non-disclosures, through the campaign dirty tricks (violation, carson quitting) now this, which has been rumored for months.
Principaled conservative? Not quite. Now we see why he is despised in the senate.

despised in the senate....I’m sure every senator knew all about Cruz but waited and let the election out him. They were probably tickled pink that he ran for president.
