Personally, I don’t worry about a lot about a change in the rules, as the LEGAL RAMIFICATIONS are tremendous for those that are part of it...in other words, I think one can reasonably assume that Trump will SUE THE DAYLIGHTS out of anyone involved in a rules change that denies him the nomination. Of course they’re welcome to try, but Trump is worth $10 BILLION and so those swindlers better have some REALLY DEEP POCKETS as they’ll have to go against his legal team. (at least that’s my take)

He can sue, but the lawsuit won't go anywhere.

Legally, a political party has the right to make its own rules. Even if Rule 40(b) were a permanent rule, the delegates at the Convention would have the right to change it. Conversely, if the RNC removes Rule 40(b) before the Convention, the delegates at the Convention could reinstate it.

Easy to say...but if you’re a GOPe, you will need some BIG DOLLARS to make the case that you can STEAL the nomination from anyone you choose, after laying out the rules.

...to put it another way, Trump likely won’t care if he wins the lawsuits, he’ll just be happy watching the GOPe types have to deal with Chapter 7 when it comes to their legal bills.

Right. So, in essence, we have two privately owned organizations holding hostage our votes. We can only vote “through” them. It’s really quite ridiculous, isn’t it?
