She was Jennie Jerome, a newbie wealthy and hot New York debutante whose father made a fortune on Wall Street and mining copper in what today is a tourist town, Jerome, AZ. According the his own autobiography and others, Jenny bedded many aristocrats in Europe causing a young Winston much pain as the trysts were not always private.
