I don’t support hypocrites, period.
If you want to claim you are a Christian and make your religious devotion a plank of your campaign then people are justified in holding you to a higher standard. Sorry, not buying the BS of “Well, when Democrats do it no one cares” or “Trump has admitted to ‘blah blah blah”. No one told Cruz that he had to run on his religion.
When you set a higher standard for yourself and fail it is not a noble thing, it just makes you look like an ass and a hypocrite; if you are going banging other women while you are married and then proclaim your Christianity loudly all over the place you are doing MORE damage than just running on your policies.
I’m freaking tired of all the idiots trying to mitigate the severity of stuff like this (if it is true); someone who goes on and on about their religion had best walk the walk or not complain about the gleeful exploitation of their hypocrisy by their opponents. Yes, all men fail, but not all men run for a high office and utilize their supposed piety as a major cornerstone of their campaign.
Disprove it or shuffle off stage, Mr. Cruz. I’ll take a person who doesn’t proclaim their holiness loud and clear to someone who deigns to tell others what morality is while violating the tenants of same.
Ease up. The actual story is basically “Oh, look, there’s a rumor out there.”
Ted has real issues, we shouldn’t be drumming on something like this until we get more data.
Those who thump the bible the hardest are often found to have the most serious failings.
Wait till we find out one of them was a tranny. LOL.
I think it’s time for the Holy Trinity of Cruz, Beck and Romney to repent. lol
A) These are accusations. They have not been proven. When I see these women come forward to say they had an affair with Ted, then I might reconsider. But really, politicians tend to do these things & it really is Heidi’s problem, not mine.
B) Trump has already ADMITTED he’s an adulterer, so if you have an issue with that, you can’t very well support him, can you? Plenty of hypocrisy going around these days.
Ted Cruz has fought for the constitution, protected our 2nd Amendment Rights & states rights. He’s the most likely to do so from the oval office.
Donald Trump has been all over the map as far as liberal, progressive, conservative, moderate, whatever. He’s been inconsistent on policy & beliefs, not to mention his personal value system. Why on earth would I support him?
