And he did so by applying that word to child molesters, thus making the connection with Carson. In doing so, he drew the pathological comparison between Carson and child molesters. Nothing ambiguous about it. There are a dozen different ways Trump could have illustrated the 'pathological' application to Carson. Trump chose to go the child molester route.

You describe a person or their behavior as pathological when they behave in an extreme and unacceptable way, and have very powerful feelings which they cannot control.

There are a dozen different ways Trump could have illustrated the 'pathological' application to Carson. Trump chose to go the child molester route.

Could you give me a few examples of conditions where people behave in extreme and unacceptable ways due to powerful feelings that can't be controlled that would be less offensive to you than child molester?
