The point is that Cruz had nothing to do with the ad & knowing that, Trump still had to tweet Cruz more than once. Why? He likes this kind of publicity...it’s demeaning to both wives.

It’s just more examples of Trump lying while he calls Ted a liar, which has been Trump’s M.O. since he started the meme. That’s why it’s proved to be the least effective putdown he’s ever used against his opponents. Calling Cruz a liar IS a lie. It has no basis in fact.

Cruz’s name is directly tied to the ad. If the ad was “inappropriate” he could have publicly requested the PAC to pull it, due to its nature and the fact that they used his name. He didn’t and only said it was “inappropriate”. Furthermore, Cruz only responded after Trump tweeted. So either Cruz’s campaign is incompetent for not knowing about the ad, or they knew about it and said nothing regardless of the inappropriateness.

How can you maintain that Cruz had no moral duty to object to an attack ad that was aimed at a family member whether he cause it to be placed or not. Silence is assent.

Cruz is despicable because he takes advantage of the lowest level of attack politics and hides behind plausible deniability until he is forced to make a comment. What kind of a leader would he be? When a superpac did something Trump viewed as unethical he forced them to disband.
