Actually... it's because the DEMS wanted it that way so they could have corporations get involved in politics and make it all legal, tax-free, and very profitable. Plus the campaign staff can declare total deniability.
SuperPacs can do anything, spend more money that anyone else is allowed to donate, as long as they don't put the words "APPROVED BY xxx CANDIDATE" in their material.
So Pro Cruz PACs have nothing to do with Cruz and the PACs are simply funding, producing, broadcasting pro Cruz commercials, specifically produced to assist Cruz, all because some unknown strangers in that party want it this way?
