All I can think is he thinks it makes him sound tough or Heidi is making him say it. He seemed to be very anxious the entire time he was making the statement.
Imagine if Trump had actually said something about Mrs Cruz rather than just posting her picture next to Ms Trump. It actually makes me want to have a moratorium on criticizing Cruz positions and actions, you never want to hit a man when he’s down.
Ted don’t give two shits about Heidi. He sure doesn’t think of her when he wails away on DC whores. His grandstanding is for the women’s vote and to try and insulate himself for the coming sex scandal “Heidi and I have our struggles but we have each other’s back”.
Cruz does not do anything publicly that isn’t designed to help himself.
