The ad was put out by a super PAC called “Make America Awesome”. It is a violation of federal election law for a candidate to coordinate with super PACs. If Ted gave any approval of the ad, he committed a violation of law. If he told anyone in the PAC to take the ad down, he committed a violation of law.

Wow, I'm stuned (yes, intentional) that people cannot see the Punch & Judy show going on. You're trying to tell me that professionals of the caliber of Ted & his wife didn't expect this, didn't know how this was going to play out? I guess you haven't had a chance to work with trial attorneys.
I'd lay odds @ 50:1 that the Cruz team had Ted practice anywhere from 5-10 different possible canned responses/feigned emotional reactions. Like any test marketing focus group, they decided to go with this version - at least during the first round.
My fascination lies in how this plays out. We're past the opening rote tit-for-tat BS; boring. They key is how DT responds. I believe he'll go after the GOPe by correctly identifying Ted as a pandering, pathetic schlub water boy for the varsity (Bush, Romney, Ryan, et al).

It is an anti-Trump PAC. There is a difference.
She did pose before her days as Mrs. Trump but she was not responsible for how they used it for political gain.
