Have Easter bonnets also been declared verboten by the Belgian authorities?

If Belgians are interested in ingratiating themselves with Muslim terrorists in order to avoid becoming suicide-bombing targets, they should dress like Muslim terrorists.

The men can grow beards and wear ‘’Kiss Me, I’m ISIS!’’ tee-shirts, while the women can array themselves in full burkas.

It’s a wonder the Belgian government hasn’t already issued a mandatory Arab dress-code for all its citizens — at least until it figures out how to prevent recurrent suicide bombings.

If it can’t figure that out, ISIS will take over Belgium and proclaim its own Arab dress-code, with beheadings for noncompliance.

In the meantime, the Belgians are demonstrating their lack of seriousness about dealing with their problems by issuing a fatwa against children in Purim costumes.

I understand what you're saying, but the authorities request is ...avoid wearing masks that cover the face in public on Purim and requested that no toy weapons be carried even by children. Additionally, the police requested that no fireworks be set off and to avoid using any device that may cause a loud banging sound. If we're to believe the authorities, and I do, that there are likely terrorists on the ground with plans for additional attacks, that's not unreasonable in the short term. Fireworks, loud banging, replica firearms, that's reasonable. My only question would be their definition of public regarding masks, which I presume to mean in public spaces as opposed to a Synagogue or home.
