“Lyin Ted” is 3rd grade campaigning. Mr. Trump (and Freepers) should knock it off.
You apparently are not very aware of the history of Presidential politics. This type of rhetoric is as American as Apple Pie, both negative and positive. It goes back to the founders.
“Tricky Dick” started in the 1950s for Nixon. Most of the nick names we remember from the presidents of yore are positive like, “Honest Abe”, “Old Hickory”, “Old Rough and Ready”, but there were just as many if not more negative nick names, “Ten Cent Jimmy” for James Buchanan, “His Fraudulency” for Rutherford Hayes, “Wobbly Warren” for Warren Harding, and “Bullshit Johnson” for Lynden Johnson.
Ted Cruz has earned his moniker from Trump many times over. He manages to demonstrate his sleazy manipulation of language on a regular basis. Lyin’ Ted is going to stick whether he somehow becomes the nominee or not. Coming out of this contest it seems likely that Ted's political career will be badly damaged and not by Trump or anyone else, but by his own words.
