How does threatening someone not responsible for the ad defend his wife? All Cruz has to do is condemn or denounce the ad.
It's that simple.
He doesn't have to apologize, since his campaign didn't put out the ad.
As it stands now, though - Cruz APPROVES the message, because he won't condemn it.
