The establishment, the globalist donors and the uber-pure conservatives would disagree of course. Plus, there’s more wives to smear and kids to smear.

Cruz is making too much money and having too much fun to get out now.

I on the other hand, agree with you.

I’m a Cruz guy who will vote in the April 19th primary according to how many delegates are out there and to prevent the Kasiches of the party from sticking their foot in the door. My only other choice is Trump. It’s Cruze, Trump or write in. And write in or 3rd party in November if the GOP candidate is not one of the two.

You are right, but unfortunately Cruz refuses to face reality, doesn’t see that he is destroying his own credibility and future.

He doesn’t realize that he is just being used by the GOPe as a tool to stop Trump and would be discarded afterwards.

Trump will NOT have the REQUIRED 1237 going into the convention.

That means many delegates, previously committed to other (not Trump) candidates will be FREE.

Cruz will WIN on the second ballot.

THAT is “why” Cruz is staying in the race, despite the misinformed assertions of the author.

He can indeed still win, both at the ballot box, and at the convention, if need be.

Cruz winning a second ballot is just as delusional as Cruz winning the general election.

People who are in the way suck

Breath!

Just Breath!

You do realize you sound a tad unhinged?

Here's a bit of insight.

Trump Delegates: 739

Non-Trump Delegates: 774

Maybe he is laying the groundwork for a third party for conservatives after Hillary’s reign.

Stop Whining and get the delegates needed. Begging for Cruz to drop out is pathetic!

I agree he should continue stomping that big mudhole right in Ted's squishy middle. Your candidate was weak, flaccid and feckless.

Cruz will WIN on the second ballot.

Do you honestly believe that the GOPe is going to nominate Cruz should we end up in a brokered convention?

Really? Wow.

I remember the days when Ted Cruz was very popular on Free Republic.

I think we can all agree that Kasich with no path at all to winning should drop out. Let cruz and trump duke it out. May the best man win.

I heard the rube was on the az ballet and came in third.. i am sure that had an affect on the final outcome.

Ted Cruz proves the myth of the tough Texan is greatly over exaggerated. Heck you couldn’t even free your own state from lowly Mexico. You needed Robert E. Lee to come save your sorry butts in 1849 /sarc

Dear Ted: You can't possibly win - so why not (bleep)?

If you really believe this, why be so nasty about it? You aren't acting like someone who is confident in the truth of what they say.

Ted Cruz was popular when he was an actual candidate. Now that he is nothing but a spoiler for his bosses in the GOPe , he is scum. He may have been scum all along, but it is his actions in advancing the objectives of Bush, Romney and the rest of them that prove he is scum.
