You cannot tell what a political neophyte will DO. They can say anything. Trump says he is a conservative Republican but he supported liberal Democrats. He’s been on both sides of every issue.

You’re right. We don’t. But he might just keep his word. We have plenty of evidence to support the fact that the career politician will protect the political and donor class. They will support the Cheap Labor Express. They will side with politics over us. As Cruz continues to come in second, we see him morph from “consistent conservative” to “political player”.
Trump has built buildings. He has honored contracts. He has met payrolls. What evidence suggests that he would stop doing that? When has Cruz ever risked his own money on a venture where he had to make it work?
