These forums were mislabeled “debates”. Whenever things got interesting, the idiot mods would change the subject. A real Lincoln-Douglas-style debate would expose Donald as the empty suit that he is. He is smart enough to realize it.
For some absolutely CRAZY! reason, the Founders didn't make "Lincoln-Douglas-style debates" a requirement to hold the office of POTUS.
They were smart enough to realize it isn't a job requirement, nor a skill a POTUS needs. Your post implies it is in some way a test of whether a candidate should be POTUS. The Founders did not think so, as recorded in the Constitution.
Trump is no empty suit. He has accomplished much out in the real world. Winning debates is not the real world.
