To: E. Pluribus Unum

The world of social outcasts is divided between nerds, geeks, dweebs and poindexters. The poindexter is named after the mad scientist from “Felix the Cat,” an animated Saturday morning series from half a century ago. The name stuck.

The mad scientist name was just “the Professor” and Poindexter was his nephew.

He was really a pretty benign character and a friend of Felix - but not harmless either because he was such an egghead he had no common sense and mostly oblivious to the danger his experiments posed so things often went haywire or exploded causing Felix some grief.

Yet, his actions were misguided not malicious unlike his Uncle, the Professor who would do just about anything to steal Felix’ Magic Bag.

Cant believe I remember all this stuff....
