WOW! Ted Cruz Bashes Donald Trump after Brussels Terror Attacks (VIDEO)
Gateway Pundit ^ | March 222, 2015 | Jim Hoft

Ted Cruz lashed out at Donald Trump.

Well, I will say, it is striking that the day after Donald Trump called for America weakening NATO withdrawing from NATO we see Brussels, where NATO is headquartered, the subject of a radical Islamist terrorist attack. Donald Trump is wrong that America should withdraw from the world and abandon our allies. Donald Trump is wrong that America should retreat from Europe, retreat from NATO, hand Putin a major victory and while he’s at it, hand ISIS a major victory.

“He implied no such thing. He criticized Trump for wanting to pull out of NATO. and used the attack as an example of what might happen.”

Talk about a defective mind. This makes no sense. We didn’t pull out of NATO and this happened. How can this be an example of what MIGHT happen?

“Pretty clumsy and ill timed for a guy who is supposed to be so clever. He only looks and sounds like LBJ; doesn’t have the sneaky-nasty thing down pat yet.”

He’s not that smart. That is just oft repeated propaganda as part of the constructed personality. His awkwardness is due to the artificiality of the construct. As others have mentioned, a bit like Obama.

So he knows they are going to get hit again but doesn’t want to stay in NATO. Oh, wait, he’s just threatening so when he has to make a deal they’ll give him whatever he wants.

Let’s see, how many Belgian boots were in Afghanistan with us? A little more than 500. The greatest love, willing to lay down their lives for their friends.

Put a price on that, DT.

He didn’t blame him for anything, except giving into the temptation to be an isolationist and take the easy way out. That’s the Obama foreign policy. Obama withdrew from the Middle East and terrorism flourished. Obama backed down from supporting our eastern European allies with defense and Russia was emboldened. Obama capitulated to Iran’s nukes and NK stepped up their nuke program. Withdrawing from the world emboldens America’s enemies. The U.S. weakening NATO would embolden our enemies and weaken us.

ISIS happened because Obama withdrew from Iraq. Trump has correctly said Obama shouldn’t have withdrawn from Iraq. But Trump seems naively trusting of Putin and Russia inparticular in the same way both Bush Jr. and Hillary started out being.

Those ISIS boys in Brussels were just sitting around, planning to welcome their Christian friends to an Easter reception to show how peaceful they were, and then TRUMP went and got them all riled up.

How great they must be, to spin up an op like this in less than 24 hours!

Yo “Caucus for Perpetual War” please explain why NATO has failed to defend Europe against the terrorist attacks in Paris and Brussels?

Could it be that a 1949 Treaty designed to protect a war ravaged Europe from Soviet aggression is an an anachronism in the Modern age?

Ted Cruz lashed out at Donald Trump.

Or, 'Ted Cruz answers question at news conference'. What was the question? Does anyone know?

For anyone that cares, the 10-minute response of Ted has him laying into Obama and his current policies. In response to a question from a reporter that may have started 'Why are you more qualified...' then gets garbled. But it was in response to that question that he talked about Trump.

Of course, when Ted blamed 'violence' on 'protesters', I am one of the few that heard him...

I get that most don't care what actually happened. Just continue with the slurs about Ted Cruz. If I were to ask most about Ted's lies, I imagine the top couple things they would list are things that didn't really happen...CNN report on Carson, Cruz blames Trump for violence at the Chicago rally that didn't happen...who knows what other things are out there...I am sure I will know soon...

Dumping NATO and re-evaluating standing forces does not equate to isolationism.
It is time to reevaluate who our friends really are.

Nations don't have friends, they have interests.

When nations have common interests and work together for mutual protection that makes them allies.

Europe is an American ally (despite Obama’ s best attempts to destroy that alliance), as is Japan, Australia, Canada and S Korea and many others.

Thanks to 8 years of Obama America can no longer fight a two front war and would be stressed if it had to fight a major single front war.

In an era of shrinking defense budgets, the NATO alliance is in our national interests and makes more sense, not less sense.

The Europeans have been slow to accept that they are in a war with Islam, but now they find that they are not just in a war, they are fighting that war on their own soil. We are in a similar boat and facing the same world wide transnational threats . This is not the time for Trump to be preaching isolationism, which is exactly what he is currently proposing. If that's incorrect, the Trump should clarify his position

NATO allies “have to put up more money,” he said. “We are paying disproportionately. It’s too much, and frankly it’s a different world than it was when we originally conceived of the idea.”

“Honestly, I know Ted is a Sleazeball, but this takes the cake. I watched the video in disbelief. How any of you can vote for Cruz after this, is now totally beyond me...”

He has a Jonestown core group. Consistently Credulous Cultists.

Who would have thunk we would have gotten here.

Cruz did it to himself by failing to lead on the important issues from the onset. Cruz, like the rest of the field, was cowed by political correctness. That is the absolute worst trait we need in our next president.

Yes he is and he has reached the point of no return. Cruz is a goner IMHO.

Cruz is secretly conspiring to assure Trump’s election. Cruz knows full well that critics of Trump lose support, and that support shifts to Trump. The only conclusion one can draw is that Cruz is secretly supporting Trump, right? To paraphrase Cruz: “A criticism of Trump is a vote for Trump.”

I started this whole thing extolling the virtues of Ted Cruz as the real deal, a Reagan. I was only intrigued by Trump at first, not enamored of him.

Cruz has become loathesome to me. His personality, his alliances, his desire to battle Trump on behalf of the establishment, he quirks, his smarm, his little thin-lipped smile, his squealy voice, they grate on me to no end.

I have been through the 5 stages of Cruz:

1. Adoration.
2. Leaning towards.
3. Questioning.
4. Disagreement.
5. Disgust.

I agree with you that Cruz blaming Trump for Brussels is a stretch.

However, the never-ending posting of anti-Trump pieces, day after day, makes it awful hard to go to Cruz either. Many times I would read the articles posted by anti-Trumpers to find little that had to do with the headline. Now, I don't bother anymore.

Let's not talk as though all the hyperbole is in one direction only.
