WOW! Ted Cruz Bashes Donald Trump after Brussels Terror Attacks (VIDEO)
Gateway Pundit ^ | March 222, 2015 | Jim Hoft

Posted on 03/22/2016 9:51:27 AM PDT by McGruff

Ted Cruz lashed out at Donald Trump.

Well, I will say, it is striking that the day after Donald Trump called for America weakening NATO withdrawing from NATO we see Brussels, where NATO is headquartered, the subject of a radical Islamist terrorist attack. Donald Trump is wrong that America should withdraw from the world and abandon our allies. Donald Trump is wrong that America should retreat from Europe, retreat from NATO, hand Putin a major victory and while he’s at it, hand ISIS a major victory.

I didn’t mean Cruz’s internals would be down from Brussels, just his defensive lying appearances about Trump today. Well, before too but Cruz is stepping it up.

But then again maybe Cruz’s evil, lying, negative campaign is helping his numbers.
After all, he’s got the media on his side now. Gave Kasich and Cruz Presidential type coverage on Brussels and none for Trump.

We’ll see.

at first I just thought TC to be ineligble.

Then, I thought he was a bit slimy after Iowa, but, meh, it’s politics.

Then, I thought he was a doofus for going with the “anyone but Trump” meme.

Then, I thought he’s really grabbing the establishment guys to bolster up his campaign.

Now, I really hope the guy never has a job in politics again, and I hope he just goes away. Far far away, like Canada.

I am lumping him in with McCain and the other ass hats that have ruined America.

Go away Cruz. I hope Texans toss you on your backside so hard, you don’t even think about being involved in politics ever again. Your Harvard Law degree is showing it’s ugly head.

Now, tell us just what in the H has NATO done to protect itself? Squat and that is all your self inflated opinion is worth. Zip, zero, nadda.

NATO has been a stain on the world since DeGaulle kicked us out of France in 1966. I know, I was there and what we had to endure from the Vichy Frogs was maddening then and it is far worse today.

Er, no, he's not implying any such thing. Here's the trouble with FR Trump supporters...you folks are doing an EXCELLENT job of making it hard for supporters of other candidates to pull the Trump lever come November. How? By outright just making $#!^ up and otherwise acting like buffoons and blowhards. YOU ARE NOT DOING YOUR CANDIDATE FAVORS.

If he's not implying that then why drag Donald Trump into it? Look, here it is again:

Well, I will say, it is striking that the day after Donald Trump called for America weakening NATO withdrawing from NATO we see Brussels, where NATO is headquartered, the subject of a radical Islamist terrorist attack. Donald Trump is wrong that America should withdraw from the world and abandon our allies. Donald Trump is wrong that America should retreat from Europe, retreat from NATO, hand Putin a major victory and while he’s at it, hand ISIS a major victory.

He manages to not only imply but find a way to weasel word it to make it look like it's Trump fault. If you can't deal with your can with your candidates propensity to blame Trump for every bad thing in the world then I can't help you. Cruz, like it or not, is a slime bucket who will stoop to anything to gain political points.

Brussels aided and abetted the Islamic nest to take root, welcomed refugees with open arms, and this is Trump’s fault how?

-- One wonders if this limited to Cruz or an indication of what we can expect from the next wave of Gen-X politicians. --

It is typical of politicians and reporters, not limited to Gen-X. "The greatest generation" has its share of fabulists, as does the baby boomer generation, etc.

That’s what I was thinking, too.
Kasich put money in Utah, so it looks like Kasich may keep Cruz from the desperately needed 50%.

I don’t think Cruz blamed Trump... but I do think its politically small and tone deaf... as though NATO funding/support or lack their of would do anything about Islamic Terror inside of Europe.

Cruz just looks more and more like every other self serving politician every time he opens his mouth these days.

This is the Obama phenomenon all over, follow the leader.

What an insulting moronic statement.

People who are behind Trump want to fix what the moronic left has done to this country for over 100 years and culminated with the last 8 years of a freaking Marxist pos.

And you think there is some equivalence to that?

You need to reexamine your "conservatism" and faux intellectualism.

He implied no such thing. He criticized Trump for wanting to pull out of NATO. and used the attack as an example of what might happen. Are people so stupid they would think ISIS planned that in a couple hrs. last nite—Good grief! Trump is not even President. brains. I don’t think Trump would make such a crazy charge. some of the Trumpsters on this sight have defective minds.

Dumping NATO and re-evaluating standing forces does not equate to isolationism.
It is time to reevaluate who our friends really are.

The status quo needs to be changed. If Europe can afford 2 million muslim immigrants, they can afford to defend themselves. By keeping the status quo, the USA is complicit in the suicide of Europe.

*standing ovation*

I gave Cruz a lot of leeway... as much of the criticisms being tossed at him were to me just typical political theater nonsense....

But the day he came out and blamed Trump for the actions of paid agitators in Chicago... it became clear Cruz was not worthy of any consideration going forward.

Cruz is the incredible shrinking candidate.

Needs to be pointed out more often.
I seldom hear civilians point it out.

“Well, I will say, it is striking that the day after Donald Trump called for America weakening NATO withdrawing from NATO we see Brussels, where NATO is headquartered...”

OK, Ted. So NATO is in Brussels now..without any of the so called Trump weakening. And still...NATO did Jack sh#t about it.
