Most Navy vets that spent time in GTMO have such hatred for that godforsaken place that we’d love to give it back (then bomb it).
Well all I can say to them is that there were a few Americans that died freeing that place from Spain.
That base is compensation enough for their sacrifice. It isnt like we haven’t been faithfully paying for it, as agreed, since then.
