I personally think a contested convention has the makings of a disaster for the party, but beyond that, I think Kasich realizes he has too few delegates now to be seriously considered as the presidential nominee. If he works with Cruz, the VP slot is the best he can hope for, but if he can start building up a much larger number of delegates, then in all his delusions, I think he actually believes that the GOPe will hand him the presidential nomination.

I suspect that Cruz will do the same thing in states where Kasich would be stronger in, probably with the hope that if he comes in close behind Trump in number of delegates, his case for the nomination will be much stronger than if he’s 10 points behind or more. They don’t want to work together because they both still want the top slot.

Watching the many Cruzers who haven't had their come to Jesus moment in recognizing their idol as a tin God fraud is hard to do.

I don't think you get it. Conservatives support conservatism not people. We support Ted because he is the only conservative in the race.

It is the Trumpeters who have abandoned reason, principal and common sense to follow an orange, foul mouthed, pied piper.

May not be enough. Often Trump under-performs the polls and Cruz over-performs due to one having a ground game and the other not so much.

Possible but most likely Trump will win.

Hard to see how this helps Cruz outside of Utah . . .

Nevermind Trump can't get 50% in this FOX5 poll.

Never mind Cruz couldn't get 50% in Texas.

Think about how much better Cruz would be looking delegate-wise right now, if he was liked enough by his own home state to have cracked 50% support there back on Super Tuesday. He would have gotten all of Texas' delegates. Pretty big failure on Cruz's part.

Blame your own weak candidate Cruz. He gets such low numbers in most states you guys have to cry for help from other candidates. This despite 24/7 talk radio and Fox shilling for Cruz and everyone laying off him to direct fire at Trump. So boody hoo if Cruz can’t get freebie votes from other people dropping out. He doesn’t deserve them.

>> If Cruz was really anti-Establishment, then he would work with Trump. Instead he fights him. <<

You could just as easily say, “If Trump was really anti-Establishment, then he would work with Cruz. Instead he fights him.”

“Kasich is going to hand it to Trump. I wonder if Trump is somehow paying him behind the scenes because all he is doing by staying in is helping Trump.”

Yep, this is what I’ve been saying. The only thing Kasich is accomplishing by staying in this race is to prevent Cruz from being able to beat Trump in a one on one match up.

Kasich is going to hand it to Trump.

No Cruz and the GOPe are handing it to Clinton, no one that is not blessed by the open borders, free trade, easy money express can be allowed to be President!

If Trump were really Anti-ESTABLISHMENT he would work with Cruz to get rid of Kasich. Kasich's motive is to hand this over to the establishment.

I guess that is what Trump people don't understand... As a Cruz supporter Crux ≠ Trump Trump ≠ Cruz We now have three lanes here. Trump (Populism) / Cruz (Conservatism) / Kasich (should have run as a Democrat Republicanism) Using your logic if Trump was really a Conservative he should work to Help Cruz instead of fight him. --------- Trump (For US). Cruz (GOPe free trade/easy money express)

Cruz is establishment, just more of a social conservative than regular Establishment. Look who Cruz is in bed with now, or don’t and pretend : )

Using your logic if Trump was really a Conservative he should work to Help Cruz instead of fight him.

You literally have no reason to vote for Cruz. Aside from his "conservative principles," what actual plans of action do you support from him? Is it immigration? He supported H1B1, doubling Green cards, and has been lying since December about his flop flop on legalizing illegals.

Is it taxes? His flat tax won't win in the general election and his European style VAT is awful.

Is it Free Trade? Free Trade is killing this country, and Cruz's opposition to TPP is simply based on its "immigration" positions, SUPPOSEDLY, because Cruz is not an honest person.

Is it abortion? Republicans have been campaigning against abortion for years and years. Where's the constitutional amendment? Where is the concerted effort to change public opinion? It's not there. It's only there during election season so that Republicans can demagogue for votes.

With Trump we get the wall. Immigration moratorium. An American First immigration/H1B system. No more nation building. A fighter who will tackle NAFTA, TPP, and has the track record that shows he'll do exactly what he says against the globalists.

So what's there to vote for Cruz for? He's nothing but a slimy liar who is staying in to give a win to the GOPe.

It’s good for you that Reagan is not around, because he would sue your Arse off. Mr. Trump, you are no Ronald Reagan and should not be pictured with him-— except, maybe, in a cartoon.

Now to just hold Cruz to under 50% in Utah.

With Soros' operative running the "on line" polling, don't hold your breath.
