I watched and definitely saw a teleprompter. Again, no big deal. I’m a Trump supporter. I actually thought this was a good thing.
The TelePrompTer may have been in place for others. They would set it up when setting the entire stage. Just because it was there did not mean DT was using it. If he did use it it was only to place an outline or list of facts so he would be accurate. He was not looking directly at it as if reading line by line

Yes. It was on Prompter, and agree that's a very good thing. Showed enormous respect for the audience and the subject, showed Trump knows how exeptionally important it is to get it exactly right.
The speech was very natural, with strong Trumpian cadences – so either Trump wrote it himself, or he has a speechwriter who knows how to write in Trump's voice.
