I know what you mean. When I dip my toe into other FR articles, I start thinking Hillary is inevitable. If not Trump, Cruz. I don't see Cruz going all the way, and if he does, I'll be sad because we will have willingly ditched the Constitution. Kasich? Romney? Ryan? Do you see them pulling the turnout? Hillary will win by apathy, I fear. Dems can get out the necessary vote, regardless of the caliber of their candidates.

I am wondering if the quiet from Trump campaign is just a between-primary lull, or if he knew the Cruz story was breaking and thought it would be better to let that rope play out without being on the scene?

If they steal it from DJT, it really won’t matter who they put in. They will be the “Designated Loser”, aka Dole, McCain, Romney. At that point, the hope for America would be extinguished. Let’s pray many times throughout each day that God will keep DJT safely delivered from Evil, and for a Godly miraculous intervention to bring about his Presidency. Satan’s Children are very real and very powerful. The Good News is that God is MOST powerful!
