The rules for politics and various other things don’t always make sense.
My first rule of “life” that my kids were ingrained with -
“Life isn’t fair.”
But I’m sure Mr. Trump understands that by now.
Sorry - to be clearer - I’m sure he learned that a long time ago.
And if it’s unfair to him, I can assure you I won’t be supporting the party’s candidate in the general election.
That’s one of my rules. I hope the GOPe understands that.

He knew the rules when he got in. That has been in effect for many years. I think Trump thought he would never have to worry about it. Delegates will have a chance to switch their votes before the first ballot is finalized. If Cruz has absolutely no chance and is not getting any of the Rubio,etc votes I think he and Trump will do something.
