Prejudice against blacks and Indians is alive and “well” in Latin America. Many years ago while it Mexico, I met a family of elderly “Spanish” spinsters. They were telling me about there youngest sister who had recently married a successful businessman. But they scornfully said in Spanish, “But she married and Indian.” I am sure that whatever jobs there are in the communist uneconomy, they go first to the light skinned.
