It’s indefensible because Mr. Will said so.

Nope. The Democrat decision to color outside the lines, pretending that the Constitution says whatever they want and turning the Supreme Court into a political tool was indefensible. Once the democrats politicized the Court, it would have been immoral not to respond defensively by limiting political appointments of those who believe in a “Living Constitution” as much as possible.

George Will = Establishment Rat

George Will is showing his true Establishment/Globalist/Uni-party/Internationalist position.

George Will wants a Gun Grabber in the U.S. Supreme Court after the questionable death of Scalia.

George Will is NOT a conservative.

No conservative would ever want a gun grabber in the Supreme Court. Certainly if the current radical leftist POTUS will be out of office in 10 months.

LA Times Headline June 15, 1993

“Clinton Picks Moderate Judge Ruth Ginsburg for High Court : Judiciary: President calls the former women’s rights activist a healer and consensus builder.”

The most liberal justice on the court who would not know a consensus if it hit her on the left side of her head (she doesn’t have a right side to hit).

Apparently today’s lazy journalists are photocopying the 1993 LA Times headline and switching one word, Garland for Ginsberg.Same biased nonsense, different year

Isn't this the same star-struck mastermind who thought it a good idea to have Obama over to his house for tea after Obama won the election in order to convince him that conservatives would try hard to work with him?
Haven't the years of continual illegality by this administration taught baseball-boy anything?
Now he feels it's unethical for Republicans to refuse to block Obama's SC nominee, someone who in all likelihood will go a large way in helping destroy the social fabric of this nation.
He talking about ethical considerations to the most unethical administration in the last hundred years.
I'm no big fan of Donald Trump but the more I see of these Washington DC phonies, the more I understand why he appeals to so many people who feel they are voiceless no matter which party they vote for, or which counterfeit conservative pundits they listen to.

The Republican party’s incoherent response to the Supreme Court vacancy is a partisan reflex in search of a justifying principle. The multiplicity of Republican rationalizations for their refusal to even consider Merrick Garland radiates insincerity.

That is the pointy headed elitist opinion of the establishment. The justifying principle is that when the Ripubs win they will be able to nominate someone better than Garland.

So basically George Will recommends we unconditionally surrender. Screw that! We either fight or we should just become Democrats. Will is a RINO and they are just Democrats in disguise.

This is a prime example of why you do not want to have a pointy-headed intellectual running the country. This absolute moron, whom I used to respect (as recently as about 20 years ago), repeatedly demonstrated that he considers theory to be far more important than reality. To be so incredibly detached from reality automatically disqualifies his opinions from serious consideration.

Will is very much aware that the approval of any Obama nominee would effectively eliminate the Second Amendment as a part of our Constitution...and he could not care less. To him, the 2nd Amendment is something that only we rubes, we provincials, care about, and someone so superior to us as he is does not wish to dirty his fingernails or his concept of himself by having anything in common with us. He is more interested in getting invited to the right parties, and having a bunch of other pointy-headed intellectuals congratulate him on how witty he is, than he is in what really matters. Frankly comma as book smart as well as comma on a practical level he is as dumb as a box of rocks. He simply does not care about weather allowing Obama to have another nominee would effectively destroy our Republic, and pave the way for a dictatorship by the Left. Provided, of course, that he could still get invited to the right parties, and rub elbows with the same people that he rubs elbows with now.

I was just listening to Fox News Sunday. Chris Wallace asked him if he thought that there would be a third-party run if Trump was nominated. Will said yes. He also indicated that he would vote for such a party. That proves to me that he is not interested in stopping the Democrats; rather, that he is interested in preserving his vision of the Republican Party no matter what the cost. It is quite obvious to any thinking individual that if there is a third-party run by any notable Republican, then a win for Clinton and the Democrats is as guaranteed as anything could be.

I’ve got no use for this guy.

The two best candidates for the SCOTUS are Ted Cruz and Mike Lee. If president Trump nominates them, and the senate leadership agrees, it will make the Trump presidency.

Mitch McConnell might agree, if for no other reason than to get them out of the senate.

Why would George Will want to act on Obama nominations?
The downside: leftists will continue not loving Mitch McConell and Charles Grassley. Who cares?
The upside: Deny another lifetime appointment of a leftist judge.

Will wants Hillary to win the election. If so, she can nominate the same guy — isn’t he a protege of her girlfriend and national menace Jamie Gorelick? What was Garland’s role in the “Wall of Separation” that facilitated 9/11? Did he argue vigorously against it? Shutting down investigation of TWA 700?
