Utah Speaker of the House Greg Hughes just endorsed Donald Trump in front of a crowd of about 400 at a rally for the insurgent Republican presidential candidate.
Hughes says he met Trump's son, Donald Trump Jr. recently who asked for his endorsement.
Hughes spoke to a revved up crowd at the Infinity Event Center in downtown Salt Lake City as Trump fans waited for the billionaire to address the crowd.

Wow! Donald Trump Jr. earned his keep on this endorsement.
Wonder if Mitt is sorry yet for taking on the Donald!

Very good news. We know that Trump will take winner-take-all Arizona by a country mile on Tuesday night and capture all 58 available delegates. But now he's going after his fair share of Utah's 40 delegates. If Trump gets half of them, he'll beat Cruz by 78-20 and be 58 delegates closer to the nomination.
I think Cruz's quick and enthusiastic embrace of Mitt Romney's endorsement shows that he is establishment GOPe through-and-through.

Just seeing pictures of Republicans, other than Trump, is starting to make me sick.

Cruz went from “gonna take on that Washington cartel” to becoming GOP pretty fast. Trump made him speed up his timeline. All of this crap was supposed to happen AFTER he got the nom.

If Trump gets 78 delegates he’ll be 78 delegates closer to the nomination, not 58, regardless of how many Cruz gets. The objective is to get to 1237 delegates.

It's pretty incredible. Trump is the only candidate in this race who took a conservative stand and stuck to it. Everybody else caved to the GOPe.
Really disappointed in Cruz. He was my second choice but it all blew up over the past few weeks. He's establishment GOPe through and through and he is willing to destroy his own career in order to help the GOPe keep their power and prevent Trump from getting the nomination.
