How do we trust Trump when Carson has assured us that Trump really doesn’t believe what he says.
The establishment wants nothing from Cruz beyond a contested convention. Cruz wants nothing from them beyond an opportunity to contest.
The establishment will dump Cruz as soon as they get what they want...an opportunity to ofer up their own candidate. And he knows it.
At no time will Cruz side with the establishment at the convention. Cruz will side with Trump against the establishment candidate (probably Ryan), denying the establishment their wish.
What Cruz is after is a head-to-head showdown against Trump on the third ballot.
Question: Would you then accept the result of a third ballot head-to-head showdown between Trump and Cruz?
