It’s not an “oh noes” - just funny how Romney supporting someone becomes the kiss of death to Trump, and to Trump supporters.

But, four years ago Trump endorsed Romney. The article goes further where Trump said if Romney is the Republican nominee, Trump would not run as an Independent.

I guess they mean it when they say politics makes strange bedfellows.

To be fair to Trump (which is probably the furthest thing from your intent), Trump made those statements/decisions before (R)money climbed in bed with Paul "GOPe Munster" Ryan and ran a FAILED campaign that didn't have the COJONES to go for the proglodytes throat regarding benghazi et al.

Does Trump refuse the support of defeated candidates and their voters? If not, and Trump supporters are fine with it, they are double minded if they condemn Cruz for doing the same thing.

Trump endorsed and supported Romney in 2012. Easily verifiable fact.

Trump has talked about how frustrating it was to see Romney basically disappear the last month or so of the campaign. I remember that. Obama was everywhere talking - Romney silent. Trump called the Romney campaign asking what’s going on, where is Mitt??

It will be fascinating to see the landscape if Trump turns out to be exactly who his critics and skeptics from the Right think he is. While Trump supporters accuse every critic of him as being a victim of Trump Derangement Syndrome (as though there could be no principled conservative opposition to Trump), if Trump’s critics are correct there will eventually be widespread Trump Amnesia Syndrome as his myrmidons race to disavow support for him.

We live in interesting times.

Trump critics in the media have pure hatred for Trump. Some because he is in the way of Cruz. Cruz has become unhinged in his quest to win at all cost. He is attracting people who are unstable. He is probably in denial about not getting the nomination.
