Blacklisted: Drudge, Coulter, Hannity, Carson, Breitbart, O’Reilly, Christie Make GOP Smart Set’s List of ‘Ideological Hustlers’

Conservative movement professionals in Washington, D.C. are plotting to form a “blacklist” of Donald Trump supporters that they can kick out of the movement, never to return.

Several conservative talking heads and Beltway consultant types have been very angry about the rise of businessman Trump, who is pushing for American sovereignty, a reversal of neoconservative foreign policy, and competitive bidding for pharmaceuticals even though the drug companies that fund the Republican Party would take a financial hit.

So far, anti-Trump think pieces referencing William F. Buckley have been ineffective. Memes comparing Trump to Hitler haven’t worked. So these Republicans are getting more Nixon-y. They’re coming out with an Enemies List.

CNN contributor and former Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) spokeswoman Amanda Carpenter volunteered to take the lead in writing the list.

Has anyone compiled the definitive list of conservatives who should be blackballed for supporting Trump? I will if it doesn't exist.

— Amanda Carpenter (@amandacarpenter) March 16, 2016

But Carpenter, who once got called an “idiot” by Donald Trump, did not mention that she formerly defended Trump on numerous occasions. Luckily, savvy Twitter users pointed it out for her in the responses below her tweet.

Carpenter later explained the terms for inclusion on her “blacklist.”

My blacklist is limited to people who have formally endorsed Trump. Not those who simply explain the phenomenon. https://t.co/KrbutWYesO

— Amanda Carpenter (@amandacarpenter) March 17, 2016

Carpenter is not alone in calling for a blacklist. Red State contributing editor Ben Howe said that he has the resources to get a high-tech “blacklist” off the ground, as well as seed money from God knows who in the donor class.

>>Trump is flushing out the fascists from every bush! This is quite instructive

If he is half as successful at trade deals and working Congress as he has been at exposing the UniParty fraud, then Trump will be an awesome president.

you are right.....I just myself want to no who in the party is not going to support are nomination... making a black list of peoples that disagree with you is wrong. and is a quick way to not growing intellectually.

You know for all the hand wringing I will probably apply menthol under my nose, cross my fingers, and vote for anyone that can beat Hillary (I have never said I wouldn’t vote for him in the general). That said I would like just once for one of the trumpteers to openly admit that Trump is not a conservative in principle and they only like him because so far he has talked a good game. That is the only reason they like him. Because up to now that is all he has done and the proof is in the pudding as it is with anyone we elect.

See me in a couple years when he gets elected and nothing he has promised has come to pass because he will get the same treatment that Cruz or any conservative would get, no cooperation from Congress. So without that cooperation and nothing gets passed for him to sign what then. Boo hoo he cannot get anything done and it is not his fault or he becomes Barry and starts signing EO’s? Which will you do?

Absolutely! Trump is rejected *LESS* and that’s the best light you can shine on it. So trump better get busy and *earn* the nomination outright, or that ball’s going up at the convention, fairly contested (not brokered - know the difference) and whoever comes down with it gets the nomination. All hell breaks loose after that.

The Americanized version of China's Cultural Revolution. All the GOP needs is a little red book.

Oh no. Colofornian and 15 others at FR won’t vote for Trump.

Better alert the media and the authorities.

It's not just fear of loss of income. There is a very real danger that Trump could go after the whole lot of them using existing RICO and other anti-corruption statutes.

And there's no escape either; if they flee the country, they can be extradited. For those countries that provide safe haven, a few $million here & there to the right people could have these dogs on the first plane back to DC into the waiting arms of police.

>>There should be no abortions, period.

I agree. But, America will never outlaw them. The goals of Sanger are too ingrained in the Globalist-Progressive ideology. I can’t explain it here, but you’ll figure it out if you think about it.

“The best way that voters can “blacklist” Trump & Co. is to NOT Vote for him...including the general election if he gets that far...”

Well, that door swings both ways, Baby. There are more of us Constitution-loving conservatives than there are banana republic thugs bound and determined to stifle free speech.

Cruzlims about to detonate themselves if we don’t recite the goldman creed three times.

“There is only one globalist party, the party of goldman, and Teddy is it’s prophet”

Tempest in a teapot - here’s all she means by the ill-advised term ‘blacklist’: “I’d like to remember who supported Trump so I never give any kind of credence to their judgment.” - https://www.conservativereview.com/commentary/2016/03/blackballing-those-who-endorse-trump

(Does seem kind of silly and pointless.)

Are you under the misimpression that this contradicts anything in my post?

It’s because of immigration.

The better question is why are you supporting Trump, if you think he’s a RINO?
