“Cruz? Please. The establishment isnt going to let Cruz take a brokered convention.”
Guess this is where I”m quite confused. How in God’s name can they just pull someone out of thin air that clearly isn’t going to get the votes for their party? All 3 you mentioned have left a sour taste in the mouths of pretty, much everyone who isn’t part of the “elite establishment”.
Too many hard drugs. Trump and Cruz combine for 2000 delegates and will control almost everything that happens at the convention. Convention drivel has always depended on the establishment making a strong showing, which ain’t happening.
Stop-Trump meetings are for the purpose of sabotaging the general election, and for the Rove-Diaz class to fleece big donors even more.
Because:
1) They think you’ll fall in line and vote for who they say; and
2) They don’t care if Hillary wins, as long as the DC gravy train continues.
The only reason Kasich is still in the race is to force a contested convention.

Easily. The RNC is a privately-owned organization. It is not accountable to voters. It makes its own rules, and changes them as they see fit. Voters votes hold no power over them, save for the power of the unified masses in action.
This election cycle has been a real education for many of us.
