Not unless he gets HIS way and changes the 1st Amendment to allow public figures to sue anyone making critical comments about them. (like in a dictatorship)
If she tried to sue, she would have to provide proof that what he said is not true, and she can’t do that.
Nope, truth is not the deciding factor with public figures - extreme recklessness or malicious intent in making the false statement is required. If the statement is true then the case gets thrown out pretty quickly.
