This is the part of the con that I always find fascinating. The Mark has all of the information he needs to see through the con, but he steadfastly refuses to do so. It is a natural self-defense mechanism, because nobody wants to admit that they were fooled.
We all like to fancy ourselves to be handsome, intelligent, shrewd and in all ways above-average. Getting hoodwinked by a flim-flam man puts a serious dent in the ol’ self-image. People will delay this reckoning as long as possible.
The flim-flam man knows this, of course. In fact, he is counting on it, as con-men always have. It is a story as old as time.
What has allowed you to remain conned all this time by the "principled conservatives" you keep sending to Congress, who haven't done thing one about Odunga? Most of us know who Trump is and we will take great pleasure in watching him destroy this pathetic hallucination that you call conservatism.
