Mark Levin was talking last night about how Lincoln became President with a brokered convention although he got fewer votes.
Mark Levin is headed to the funny farm at warp speed.
And Mark Levin is a high decibel carnival barker in the style of PT Barnum trying to hock his useless wares and trinkets. He belongs in the men’s department of Belleville Mental Institution along with Glen Beck getting fitted for a straight jacket.
But a brokered convention will result in an establishment candidate. Romney, Bush, Ryan, Graham, et al, are no Abraham Lincolns!
OMG, he talked about someone besides Cruz and his new web show?
Yeah, but there were no primaries then. They were ALL “smoke filled rooms.”
Oddly, I caught that and I never listen to Levin. He told it in a way to glorify the contested convention.
It reminded me of the story of the first battle of the civil war, where families and people gathered with picnics to watch the battle like a sporting event. They soon realized it was far less glamorous and far more frightening than they ever imagined. But it was too late. The war had already begun.
I knew Abraham Lincoln. Cruz ain’t no Lincoln.
