I think if faced with either staying on as Senator or being VP, Cruz would take VP. He’s young and only one nutcase step away from the Presidency. Also, the Donald may be bored by living in a second class joint after 25 years in Mar Lago and only want one term.
He probably wouldn’t stay in the WH. He’d probably stay in the Presidential Suite of the Trump Washington.
