Relatives of a teenager shot and killed while robbing a home in Miami are upset with the homeowner for defending herself.
Trevon Johnson, 17, spent the final moments of his life last Thursday trying to rob a woman’s house before she killed him during a confrontation, according to CBS Miami.

Don’t know if they got it passed but Florida was trying to put the onus on the prosecution to prove it was not self defense immunity instead the shooter having to prove it waa
I think the presumption is that if you are in your home, the intruder is armed and dangerous.

If it can be clearly shown that the burglar was no longer a threat, for instance if he was out the door and running away, then the homeowner would have a tough time claiming that he feared for his life. This is a pretty high bar for the prosecution to clear, however”
Based on the name of the shooter i’ll take the leap that she was black. No money, and certainly no social justice in going after her. Like a Chicago weekend, lil’ Travon will be down the memory hole in no time.
This thread is filled with TV watching simpletons who’ve probably never been in danger from a roving mutant in their lives.
These people have been schooled to believe that they have a right to anything that belongs to us. It was inevitable that the time would come when looting stores and robbing businesses in flash mobs would escalate into attacking people in their homes and taking anything they can get away with. It’s only just beginning. There are increasing instances of people being assaulted and robbed by these thugs while walking down the street in broad daylight.
We too have been schooled and don’t think it hasn’t worked on much of society. Clerks have been taught to hand over goods and money without resistance. Businesses sit by and watch while flash mobs enter without fear and loot a whole store in minutes. In my area, it’s become a major part of the news to report gas station and convenience store robberies where no resistance is even attempted. Sometimes the same store will be targeted several times a week with the same results. And why not? The thieves are seldom caught and they’re handed over what they demand with no push back whatsoever. Why wouldn’t they have come to expect homeowners to do the same?
The time is coming soon, maybe this summer, when no one is going to be able to go about the daily business of living without fear of these animals. It’s going to be like living in the jungle, literally, with feral attackers waiting to take anything and everything they can get, anywhere and anytime. After all, how else are they going to make a living? All the affirmative action, tax dollars and freebies have produced a dangerous element that can only get worse.
We have become prey.
I might sound harsh however the fact that the shooter was a dark skinned person is probably a great thing, for it means that the media will mostly forget about this since this is no story and that BLM have nothing to protest about.
By the way, if I was her I would get the hell out of the hood and go somewhere else, now, right now.
Indeed we have granny, half the reason I need to get the heck away from Washington D.C. before the SHTF.

Just because at the moment, they are only burglaring?
