I agree with him that if voters are ignored at the convention it will turn out bad. Many have no idea at the anger at politicians that have not been listening to the voters for some time. Of course people will twist his words, that is what they do.

And, quite honestly, if Trump supporters (Cruz supporters as well, for that matter) simply take this lying down, again, then it is no longer the establishment, the GOP, the media, who are to blame. It is us. I have no idea what our response should be. But it should not be a passive one.

As disappointed as I have been in Cruz, since he started his campaign (and going into it, I thought he was one of the best politicians and thinkers of the modern era), I am even more disappointed by the behavior of his supporters. It has been nothing short of disgusting.
