I predict hearings within 60 days and conformation with Republican votes in support of the candidate.
“Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah” Obama said.
“FUBO!” was the reply.
I hope that the GOPee will not regret this defiant move because the next president may just nominate a worse candidate. You can bet that HIllary is happy with this GOP move. She is chomping at the bit to nominate Hussein for a seat in SCOTUS.
Hopefully the Republicans will remember the “fair” hearings that Robert Bork and Clarence Thomas received from the Democrats.
and this is the case they NEED to be making to the public over and over again that this was NOT a bipartisan pick, that it was nothing more than yet another partisan pick for the purpose of political pressure- and tell the president that if he wishes to consult with htem on another pick, they would be more than happy to noodle it over with him and try to find common ground- and make the case that the president picked this man because he KNEW this man did not represent republican ideals- or even attempt to represent them
Turn this right back around on him! (and delay until after the next election )
We already have a handful of wimping-out senators indicating that they’re willing to meet with the nominee.
Per NBC, four Republican senators say they will meet with Judge Garland:
Ayotte
Collins
Flake
Portman
I hope they get primaried. This is NOT to be tolerated. The stakes here are huge.
Hatch liked him ? Uniparty judge. Will work to erase borders permanently and take away our guns. Long live the New World Order !
Then schedule a vote. Have Ted Cruz or someone else file a motion to filibuster. Then ask the Democrats if they have enough votes to call for closure. If they don't, then table the vote on the nominee. It dies at that point AND IT WILL NOT BE VOTED ON. SO BOTH SIDES ARE CORRECT A VOTE WAS CALLED FOR BUT NEVER HAPPENED. Will that satisfy the Democrats? Hell No.
Gutless McConnell will fold like he did on ObamaCare and shutting down the government.
Obama is already laughing at him and the rest of the GOPe
Rush is right, Obama doesn’t really want this guy but will take him if he has to.
The GOP will force Obama to take him, isn’t that interesting?
