By blaming the victims for the actions of their attackers.
You do not want to ask that question. And whatever you do, don’t say that Cruz correctly placed blame for the violence on the protesters. And then don’t point out that DT blamed the victims for inciting the attack on a Texas ‘draw the prophet’ cartoon contest...Just don’t go there, you will be in for a beating...

Anyone who listened to what Cruz said about the Chicago protestors could not reasonably conclude he undermined the first amendment. It is just ridiculous.

It was time for Cruz to defend Trump and put the onus squarely where it belonged. . .ON THE EVIL LEFTISTS. . because if the evil leftists are able to dispatch Trump via those tactics. . .they will employ the very same tactics to Cruz. . .IT WAS A SHAMEFUL, cynical political reaction by Cruz when a moral stand was the only proper response. Thus, it really damaged his standing especially with those, like me, that would certainly have considered Cruz as a viable alternative if Trump were to falter. .or as a VP candidate with Trump. . .NOT ANYMORE, HOWEVER.
