Really, what did Sen Cruz say? The only thing that I read was that Sen Cruz simply stated the truth.

To quote from the NY Times: Mr. Cruz began by saying that the “protesters who took violence into their own hands” were responsible for the episode.

“But in any campaign, responsibility starts at the top,” Mr. Cruz continued. “And when you have a campaign that disrespects the voters, when you have a campaign that affirmatively encourages violence, when you have a campaign that is facing allegations of physical violence against members of the press, you create an environment that only encourages this sort of nasty discourse.”

No it was not the truth, Blaming the victims of pre-planned organized violence by Marxists is asinine. So Americans have no right of self-defense, no right of free speech, no right of freedom of Assembly? Keep up this Blame Trump BS and lose even more states as we go forward.

If you can show at any time an actual Trump supporter initiated any violence as a result of Trumps support of self-defense get back to me otherwise go to DU where the blame the victim if a Republican crowd hangs out

Cruz lost support from his own voters as a result of what he said on Friday night.

What Ted Cruz said was weak, opportunist, and showed a distinct lack of leadership. His emphasis was completely wrong. After rebuking the organized thugs in passing he went on an on with a bunch of Trump-hating schlock.

Cruz completely missed his opportunity to stand in staunch solidarity, not only with a frontrunner who, along with his supporters, had his Right to Peaceably Assembly infringed upon, but also with law & order and a GOP party whose democratic process came under physical attack.

It clearly cost Ted Cruz dearly last night. I don't think there's any denying that at this point...
