It appears that GOP frontrunner Donald Trump slightly edged out Sen. Ted Cruz in Missouri on Tuesday night. Trump took 40.7 percent of the votes in the Show Me State with 100 percent of the votes tallied.
Sen. Ted Cruz is close behind at 40.6 percentdown by approximately 1,700 votes. With this small a margin, Cruz could potentially ask for a recount. However, since Missouri is not a winner-take-all primary, the recount fight may not yield many new delegates even if he is ultimately declared the states winner...

You are the liar. Nothing happened to her that could be considered battery.
Oh good grief. Breitbart stood with lying Michelle Fields in the beginning because they believed her story.
After NUMEROUS videos, from many different angles, it was evident that she had lied...and her boyfriend did too.
Trump hating Ben Shapiro piled on and added to the lie...as did Crazy Megyn.
You might as well get over this. No one bought the latest in quite a list of lies and false accusations from Fields.
Did you even read what Sen Cruz ACTUALLY said?
I will say this: Protesters have no right to engage in violence, Mr. Cruz told reporters in Illinois, also saying the protesters have no right to threaten violence or shout down other speakers.
The First Amendment gives every one of us a right to speak, but we dont have a right to silence others, he said. And to the extent these protesters are organized leftist groups, whether its Black Lives Matter or Bernie Sanders or George Soros, or some other moveon.org leftist group, theyre simply trying to terrorize political speech.
That is not their right. It is wrong, and we need to stand against it, Mr. Cruz said.
Sen Cruz also called Trump out for not being more Presidential. But I think also in any campaign, the responsibility starts at the top and it is not beneficial when you have a candidate, like Donald Trump, whos telling his protesters, Punch that guy in the face. You know, I mean, I dont think you should be encouraging people to violence
You’re both wrong. First, the video that all the Trump supporters kept claiming PROVES that she was lying did nothing of the sort. It showed what looked to be Lewandowski grabbing her, just as she said. Then, all the Trump supporters missed THIS video, conveniently, which clearly shows that it was Lewandowski who grabbed her and yanked her backwards. Her direction of travel immiediately went from moving in the direction Trump was moving to moving backwards, and she stumbled.

Florida 784.03 defines simple battery (or misdemeanor battery) in the following way:
Any actual and intentional touching or striking of another person against that persons will (non-consensual), or
The intentional causing of bodily harm to another person.
Note that it’s either/or. There doesn’t have to be intent to harm - the only requirement is an intentional act of touching someone against their will. Clearly, Lewandowski touched her against her will, , and although injury is not a requirement for misdemeanor battery, he grabbed her hard enough to leave marks on her arm. It was not in some kind of casual, accidental way, like if he were brushing past her in a crowd. None of the common battery defenses fit what happened in that situation. That’s not to say that he will be arrested for it, but it’s utter BS on the part of Lewandowski and all of his minions to suggest that nothing happened in that encounter, which, if you’ll recall, has been his defense - that he never touched her at all.
What Ted Cruz said was weak, opportunist, and showed a distinct lack of leadership. His emphasis was completely wrong. After rebuking the organized thugs in passing he went on an on with a bunch of Trump-hating schlock.
Cruz completely missed his opportunity to stand in staunch solidarity, not only with a frontrunner who, along with his supporters, had his Right to Peaceably Assembly infringed upon, but also with law & order and a GOP party whose democratic process came under physical attack.
It clearly cost Ted Cruz dearly last night. I don't think there's any denying that at this point...
What is weak is a candidate and his followers who can’t handle being told the truth. Trump is the one who showed a lack of leadership and got called out for it. Trump is the one who missed the opportunity. What he should have said was to let the police handle the protesters instead of encouraging others to violate the law.
Now to Trump’s credit, he realized that what he did was wrong and has since been walking that position back.
Yes I did read it. he KNEW like you do now the context was self defense where a violent thug was trying to hurt people. So Your implication is Trump is inciting to violence whe the fact is its supporting the right of self defense, Both you aand Cruz need to read the Constitution. In self defense you do not bend over for the attacker.
What I know is that it was NOT self defense.
The protester was in the custody (detained) of either security or police or both. The protester was being escorted out because he was using his WORDS to shout and disrupt. That was a legal and proper.
Then the 78 year old man violent and viciously attacked the protester. That was ILLEGAL and should have been called such by Trump. When he did not, he missed the opportunity to be Presidential. That is what he got called on.
Self defense is a point of law where a person is actually attacking you. The video SHOWS that the protester was NOT attacking anyone and the 78 year old BOY, was the attacker. There clearly is no basis for a claim of self defense.
BS. The video clearly shows that there was no violence nor pain, and she blew everything out of proportion.
There should be consequences for her for filing criminal charges of battery against Lewandowski. Losing her job barely covers it.
Who would want to hire another lawsuit-in-the-making like her again?
OK Now you are dishonest, YOU KNEW they were two seperate incidents far apart, By combining them you have just lost it completely.
The “punch him in the face” was an incident with a very violent protestor who was attacking , men women and children near him whereas the alleged sucker punch situation it is not even clear its not a liberal set-up - it may not have anything to do with a Trump supporter.
Nonetheless, the latter was an entirely different event. The latter happened long after Trump started saying don’t hurt them.
The problem we have with so-called conservatives doing what you and Cruz are doing is its pure Alinsky in its a double standard application of the FAKE outrage.
Now you are the one being dishonest.
Sen Cruz’s response, the quotes that I have shown his actual words, was about the sucker punch situation.
And you combined the Punch him in the face self defense comment with the much later likely set-up event long after Trump cautioned people to not hurt protestors.
Insert hand size joke here.
"Ew, ew, I know Mr. Cotter!!"
When Ted Cruz refused to support Donald Trump's first amendment rights, he refused to support ALL OF OUR first amendment rights.
Sen Cruz has always supported Trump’s rights to hold his rallys and has even said that the protesters do not have the right to disrupt Trumps rallies.
Now Sen Cruz has ALSO called out Trump for not being Presidential because Trump supported some thug who attacked a protester being escorted out. EVEN THEN, Sen Cruz did not abandon the 1st amendment. He did not call for Trump to be silenced. He did call Trump out for not being presidential. Telling someone one that there is a better way to accomplish the same thing is not abandoning the 1st amendment.
Please feel free to walk through this thread and show me where I made that mistake. If you can find it and point it out, I will apologize.
Battery doesn’t require pain, although she clearly had bruises on her arm that Lewandowski caused.

And you using that but pushing the much latter incident where Trump had been saying not to hurt protestors and which may have been a set up to push the false claim meme Trump incites violence.
Since you are talking about the latter event but using the earlier statement both you and Cruz dishonestly mixed the two. The Statement was made in the context of self defense, and for that its dishonest to use it to assign blame for the latter event.
He has met the 8 needed, and to my understanding, is the only one of the current crop who has. I do not know those states specifically. Gatewaypundit says he has a majority of delegates in 12 states so far, so well above the Rule 40 requirement.
Yes, because if people don’t march lockstep with you, they’re stupid, huh?
And this is why I don’t like most Cruzies.
