I have a suit made by a tailor from Hong Kong who comes to NYC a couple times a year. Excellent quality; great custom fit; excellent price for the quality and fit. But, I’m not running for POTUS on the platform of “Bring the jobs back to the USA” while wearing a Chicom suit.

So we agree that China makes great clothes.

So why not continue to have them made there or any part of Asia?

Textile industry took off in the 80's.

Not coming back any time soon.

Not Trumps fault.

He can reverse the course but not going to be done overnight.

Even with the quality of work not being up to par in many cases, companies enjoy the margins.

Consumer driven.

Better sector of jobs that he wants brought back to the US.

I can tell you, not may are lining up to be seamstresses.
