Why would any American travel there? And where were the parents? Sending your kid to North Korea? What could possibly go wrong?
“Why would any American travel there? And where were the parents? Sending your kid to North Korea? What could possibly go wrong?”
Those are good questions that were appropriate 30 - 40 years ago.
The amount of influence and/or control a parent has over a teenager on up today ranges from very little to none.
If little junior wants pot, he gets it, if he wants to smoke, that’s OK, if he wants to be a homo, that’s good too. It all started in the 90’s when schools, social services and the government put more pressure on parents to improve kids self esteem. The result was a bunch of narcissistic idiots that do as they please and respect no one. They are the obama voters.
And North Korea? They never been told anything bad about the place.
I say let the jerk rot in the NK prison.
“Why would any American travel there?”
They certainly won’t be doing it now.
“I’ll take suicidal tourism for $200, Alex.”
