They are whores inviting Cruz to jump off a cliff. They want to win as badly as anyone. I'd be surprised if they don't throw in with Trump on fire sale terms. They may be embarrassed of Trump and his supporters, but he is not an affront to a dignity that they don't have.
The GOP Senators are mostly whores, of that there is no doubt. It will be interesting to see how everything plays out in the next few days. This is the best primary season I can remember. I was out of the country most of 1980, so I did not get to catch much of that one except what I could read in S&S.
