“There is no way they put Warren on the ticket. It would make Hillary look even more low energy than she already is. She’d completely be overshadowed by the VP pick. Bad optics.”

yeah, i was just thinking about how the bomb-throwing Warren would be zipping all around the country leaving Hillary in the dust, so you raise an excellent point.

And even more interesting, who would they get who would NOT overshadow Hillary? Hillary doesn’t have the energy to speak in front of live groups more than once a week, and they have to be small groups at that, under 800 usually.

I wonder if they’d have to hamstring Hillary’s VP so she wouldn’t be overshadowed?

Interesting question. Hillary comes across as physically tired and she's not the most engaging speaker; even with a canned speech.

Logically, if logic ever enters into these things, she shouldn't pick another woman. It both overloads the demographic and it again invites comparison with Hillary. So she's left looking for a guy who is dull, low energy, and not threatening.

Hold on a sec. I think I have just the perfect VP for Hillary!
