Trump needs to get ready to 3rd party. The GOP is going to screw him.

This is a pretty private list of co-horts, I’ve searched and can’t find other members of Curly’s elite committee. I guess the RNC keeps everybody covered. I certainly wanted to blast off some emails.

Haughland, who is a member of the RNC’s Standing Rules Committee, claims that convention delegates were only bound to vote along with primary results at the 1976 convention and that the requirement was repealed in 1980.

Since this supposedly has been the set up since 1980.....inquiring minds want to know how many times have they used this "rule" to override a primary?

If they screw the voters, I will drag myself to the polls to pull the D lever on every down ballot candidate. We can all play that game. Either way, lots GOPe’s will be out of a job.

“Every delegate to the 2016 Republican National Convention is a completely free agent, free to vote for the candidate of their choice on every ballot at the convention in Cleveland in July. Every delegate is a Superdelegate!” claimed Highland...

If they are really stupid enough to pull this shenanigan, then it would lay bare the fact that the votes of the people are irrelevant. They're nothing more than a little show to provide people the illusion they control the government.

It’s been clear to me for some time that the will of the people of America has little or nothing to do with what is being done in our government. That’s why they’re all so upset by a candidate like Trump who is outside their influence. Even foreign governments are petrified at what they stand to lose. With so many forces aligned against the ordinary American, it doesn’t look encouraging for either Trump or Americans.

Folks, don’t let loud voices or pundits ruffle your feathers. Yes, the RNC Convention Rules Committee can and does change the rules of the conventions. That is the purpose of a rules committee.

However, any rule changes adopted by the Convention Rules Committee must be approved on the convention floor by the whole convention of delegates.

It doesn’t matter. No-one can get enough votes to avoid a brokered convention. Trump’s hope is to eventually start winning 50%+. If he fails to do that, the party will consider electability and which candidate is acceptable to the largest number of people, and Trump gets destroyed in every general-election poll.

video of Kasich just on CNN and he says he’s not going to drop out and he will have the most delegates, even if he loses Ohio, he said it doesn’t matter, he WILL have the most delegates.

I was a bit confused, but I guess this is the game plan now?

Nutty Kasich rolls around waving to his admirers, convinced he can be president even if he should lose OH today. He is not dropping out until the money stops.

It will be the death of this party if the GOP does not go with the winner of the primaries. I have never seen the electorate so mad at their leaders....they will not recover betraying the base one more time in such a grand manner.

All this saber rattling is about suppressing the Trump voters. Don’t give in to it. Keep voting.
