We are too reliant and have allowed our means of production to wither. Does anyone realize just how exposed we are in the event of an emergency? I posted this on the thread titled "The damage “conservatives” in Washington have done" 11 days ago.
The implications should be obvious: we cannot produce our own war materiel anymore. Where will our tanks, planes, ships, and missiles come from, should we suddenly need more?
