You see if you go into Harlem and run up and down the street screaming I hate the N’s word and you get the crap kicked outta you, who’s responsible?
Well, obviously the blacks that kicked your a$$....but dont you bear some responsibility for making such ill advised comments?
You have the right to say it but is it prudent?.....is it surprising theres a reaction.... was it not foreseeable there would be negative consequences?
I agree that Trump needs to be wiser in things that he says. But it’s the people who are committing these acts (very few from what I’ve gathered) who are ultimately responsible. That said, don’t forget how out-of-control some of the BLM people have been when they protest. Some of that footage in Chicago that showed a black guy running up to the podium and shrieking abuse and refusing to be restrained was pretty ugly. If you’re dealing with people like that (and I stress that not all blacks are like that, of course) some provocation can happen and that’s not all Trump’s fault.
Yes, and that's the point. Trump's stupid comments (punching in the face, carrying out on stretchers, paying the legal bills, etc.) exacerbated the situation, and then when one of Trump's followers carries out his leader's wish and actually punches a being-escorted-out protester in the face--well, that does not reflect well on Trump's judgment.
Imperfect comparison. Trump wasn't running up and down the street, he was speaking in a rally organized and paid for by him,
Those provoking were the disruptors.
So what Trump is saying is the equivalent of the “N word”?
