Kasich knows it. There is no path to 1,237 for him or any way for him to overtake Trump. He is there to take delegates from both Trump and Cruz.

Whether we like it or not, there are some of the old faithful who still believe in the GOP.
Kasich was campaigning statewide with Mitt Romney.
If I were Trump or Cruz, I would treat Romney as a candidate.
I might even ask at the next debate “Why isn't Mitt here”?
