I think you’re on to something here. I don’t mean this in a snarky or mean way but it’s possible there are other physical/medical/psychological/marital issues driving some of Rush’s weirdness. Like he’s living in an alternate universe.
I still contend that Rush has personal animus toward Trump in addition to his over-the-top support of Cruz. Trump is the alpha male Rush will never be.
After listening to Rush for many, many years, I recently had to stop listening to him completely. He has changed drastically, and seemingly "gone off the deep end".
I've been reading about "Alzheimer's Disease", and have found it interesting that one of the ways people first start to suspect Alzheimer's in someone they know very well is when their morality (including their basic honesty and integrity) begin to change radically (or even disappear).
Not sure what is up with Rush, but it is definitely not good.
